Positive Push and Pull effects.

Written by Mathew Naismith

Sorry but it seems I’ve been negligent in relation to positivity and the push and pull effect.  Positivity is a reaction which denotes a push and pull effect however if the positive reaction isn’t in retaliation or opposition to negatives it’s more of a subtle reaction. We get this in meditation, meditation is a subtle action of the push and pull effect, it’s not usually in retaliation to negatives. If it is in retaliation then it’s not as subtle however eventually we will release ourselves of this push and pull effect when practicing in meditation hopefully, thus in turn quietening the mind.

Why is it so hard to get into a meditative state at times? I feel it has everything to do with the push and pull effect. Notice next time when it’s difficult to go into a meditative state, you will find you are pushing or pulling at something in life. Physical existence is all about this push and pull effect but if we can positively and subtly correct our ways in how we react in life we will in turn create a new consciousness creative to life not destructive to life. In other words Instead of living under a constructive ego we can now live under a constructive ego.

Positivity and negativity don’t have to be of the extremes of this push and pulling, the closer to the middle ground we can get them the less extreme pushing and pulling effects we will create.

This pushing and pulling effect creates realities, the more extreme the negatives and positives are the more chaotic a reality is going to become; human history is a good example of that.  I think this pushing and pulling is of fragmented consciousness reacting to itself creating whatever reality the reactions are between this push and pulling.  The less opposing the reaction is between the push and pull the more peaceful a reality this will create, the more opposing the less peaceful a reality this will create.

Consciousness creates whatever that consciousness is. Consciousness is a very powerful energy form much powerful than man has ever produced including the nuclear bomb.  The sun doesn’t even come close with it’s push and pulling effects but what does come close is matter and anti-matter coming together which produces universes.  We shouldn’t underestimate consciousness, if we are being positive as opposed to negative we are creating another big bang however the big difference between creating something out of opposing opposites and non-opposing opposites is the outcome.  Matter and anti-matter didn’t oppose each other obviously so created constructively however if we use positivity in opposition to negativity we will create something alright, something destructive.  Human history is a very good example of this; it was created through opposing opposites instead of non-opposing opposites. In other words, this reality was created through a controlling destructive ego instead of a non-controlling constructive ego.

Some people believe there are no realties, realties are an illusion so everything I just said about realties is irrelevant or is it? There is a fundamental difference between illusions and delusions; I believe we are delusional rather than being of an illusion. This might sound worse but it’s not.

You can’t create or have realities within illusions because they are not real however when we are delusional we live within our own self-created reality and yes they are real to us as this reality is to a lot of people.  The delusion is we are not being all we are however we are being what the push and pull effect of consciousness creates, this is probably too farfetched for most people. What I am saying is, this push and pull effect, like matter and antimatter coming together, creates realties that are real in a sense.  No this reality isn’t all we are but it was still created by fragmented consciousness reacting to each other either in opposing opposition to each other or non-opposing to each other.

No matter if it’s fragmented consciousness, which relates to thought, or non-fragmented consciousness, thoughtlessness, it’s still consciousness. If I cut my finger off is that finger no longer a part of me even though it’s physically no longer a part of me? No of course not, just because fragmented consciousness isn’t whole doesn’t make it no longer a part of the whole of consciousness.  If we thought we were just the finger that is a delusion not an illusion, also you can’t honestly say the finger no longer exists just because it’s no longer a part of us? To me if you call this reality an illusion that is exactly what you would be saying, “the finger no longer real, it’s an illusion!!”

I think it’s important how we use consciousness, in any form, to create our present/future/reality. Being aware in how consciousness reacts to itself is fundamentally important if we want a more peaceful existence without so much extreme positive and negative pushing and pulling.

Please again don’t take this post as gospel, it’s only one person’s ravings.

Releasing Negativity II

Written by Mathew Naismith

I got some interesting responses from my last post Releasing Negativity; they were neither negative nor positive just interesting.  I’m going to share some of these interactions with you in this post today.

Eddie
Any slightest or subtlest movements of pushing the dislike and pulling the like creates a resistance that forms dualities separating us and the nature of what is with a boundary

Negative and positive motion and reaction is defined by this push & pull effect, the more we react the more friction we incur, the chaotic state this world is in I think mirrors this. How about if we were all positive, there would be no negatives to contend with would there? Not quite, a positive action is of the pulling effect but against what? Why would we be pulling or trying to be positive when there is no negative to push away?

What I think is happening here is any reaction causes another reaction which causes another reaction and so on within a cycle of reaction, positive against negative.  The reaction of positivity instantly creates a negative, action reaction, push and pull , what if we just stopped reacting to either negative or positive responses? We would no longer be within this cycle or any other cycle. Not responding to positivity & living to a cycle sounds unemotional but it’s not.

What would utter peace and tranquillity feel like? If you have no push and pull, negative and positive, good or bad etc. you would have to have peace and tranquillity. You can actually try this process with others when in disagreement.

Recently I wrote what I thought was a positive post however I ended up with what I deemed as a negative response to this positive post of mine. Yes the person was meant to be negative within his response, put into a number of words; I was dishonest and wrong period.  The post in question was about honesty within spirituality.

The discussion ended up with negative expressions being thrown at various people involved in this discussion. What was deemed to be a positive post by me produced native responses, this is a pull effect (positivity) creating a push effect (negativity).   Who would think something positive could create a negative but that is what happened because I perceived my post to be positive (pull) but others perceived it to be negative (push).

Personally, I don't believe in trying to block out or put up walls against negativity. The real mastery is to practice holding a neutral or compassionate consciousness in the face of "negativity". Putting up walls is a form of denial, avoidance, and arrogance. It says "I am above other people and their suffering". Anyone can do that.

 Me
I'm trying to be neutral & neither see a positive or negative but boy this is so easy to say but not so easy to accomplish.

I realise for one do this one needs to be living within an environment conductive to this, most of us aren't in that sort of environment I'm afraid so my best will have to do.

Most people’s environment isn’t conductive to this process of  being able to release ourselves of this push and pull effect, negative and positive reaction, but I think just by being aware of our positive/negative reactions should be  suffice in creating a more peaceful tranquil life for ourselves .

Next time you become aware of a negative and/or positive reaction, push and pull effect, try practicing in not seeing or feeling a positive or negative. When this is practiced enough, you will begin to feel quite at peace because of a newly found freedom.   This freedom by the way is not just looking at the ego as being negative and destructive but how the ego can be very constructive. The destructive ego creates this push and pulls effect however on the other hand the creative ego doesn’t have this effect to combat and this is where I feel we get this feeling of freedom from.  It’s not about combating (pushing) the ego with egoless but sort of changing this destructive ego into a constructive ego from within.

You could say by changing something that is still enacting a push and pull effect but it’s not, all we have to do is stop/ease this push and pull effect down a bit and the ego will quite automatically change itself. You could say it’s truly magic and it certainly feels that way!!

Releasing Negativity

Written by Mathew Naismith

“When someone tells me "no," it doesn't mean I can't do it, it simply means I can't do it with them.”
― Karen E. Quinones Miller

We all have a different perception of what is negative & what’s not so with this in mind, does negativity have boundaries? There are absolutely no boundaries that negativity cannot cross; all set boundaries can be crossed by negativity which is determined by our perception of negativity however positiveness works in the same way.  Positiveness has no set boundaries it can’t cross either so within this in mind can we use positiveness to give negatives boundaries it is unable to cross?

If we put up a positive wall to keep negative influences out, have we released ourselves of negativity? We must have because we no longer influenced or feel negative, the wall we have built for ourselves is keeping anything negative from sight and if we don’t see/feel negativity it can’t exist.  We now have the perception we have released ourselves of negativity because of our wall of positivity but have we!!

Like I said before in this post, negativity has no boundaries it can’t cross so if we are not feeling or seeing negativity because of this wall of positivity how can negativity cross this boundary?  The point is it never left; the wall is a good reminder of this. All we have done is basically stuck our heads in the sand staying ignorant of what the wall actually denotes which is the presence of negativity. The point is, perceiving anything is negative in the first place is negative, the wall of positiveness we have constructed to keep out negatives just endorses this.  By reacting to what we deemed as negative with positivity, all we have done is made ourselves feel better which is fine if that is all we want to do.

Let’s now take look at spiritual teachers like Eckhart Tolle & Deepak Chopra for example in regards to releasing ourselves from perceived negativity. There teachings are formidable & inspiring to say the least but have they found boundaries that negativity can’t breach? This would certainly seem so.

We should remind ourselves here again that being aware of negativity in the first place is negative; to see anything remotely negative is negative however we obviously presume we need to become aware of negativity to form barriers/walls against negativity thus releasing ourselves from this perceived negativity. Like I said previously, any barrier or wall we put up only endorses negativity even though we no longer experience negativity within ourselves. The question is here, what is willing us to rid ourselves of negativity and feel better?  Ego, the ego wants us to set up barriers to feel better within itself, when the ego feels better we as a whole feel better.

Now Eckhart Tolle & Deepak Chopra, in their own ways, have seen the ego as negative thus inadvertently demonised the ego so any display of ego is of course bad. Deepak Chopra has in recent times rescinded this to a point.  If the ego has tricked us in releasing negatives when we haven’t the ego must be negative?

What is anything negative negative too?  The ego because anything that makes us feel bad has to be negative, it’s the ego itself that can only become aware of anything being negative. If we were totally truly positive it would be impossible to become aware of anything being negative, negative needs negative to become aware of itself. People like Eckhart Tolle & Deepak Chopra use negatives to become aware of negatives like the ego for example however the ego can be as constructive as it can be destructive. We perceive here that destructiveness would have to mean something negative & of course anything that we deem as destructive is usually something that makes us feel bad.  Do you see how anything that makes us feel bad is deemed as being negative? It’s the ego that wants us to feel good all the times by becoming aware of these presumed negatives that needn’t be negative at all. Negatives produce positive reaction, the ego feeds off of this.

So if we hide behind a barrier/wall of positivity we are still not truly releasing ourselves from negativity, what then will release us from negativity? Our own perception & using the ego in a more constructive way by facing these negatives head on and changing them from within. It really does no good hiding behind a wall of positivity, man has done this right through human history, this is why drug & war lords dominate so much of the world today & why piracy is just as, if not more, prevalent than any time in human history.  And of course on top of this, politician & multinationals do as they please.

Ask yourself, is any of this negative and why is it negative? Because we think everything that makes us feel bad is negative, this is the destructive factors of the ego telling us this, now let’s look at this differently. Perceive there is no negative no matter what the ego says and how the ego makes us feel, there is actually no negatives what’s so ever but that would mean there is no positives. You don’t perceive positives because there are no negatives for the positives to oppose.  Positives only exist because we perceive negatives exist but they don’t once you bring the ego out of it’s destructive phase into a more constructive phase.

How do we bring the ego into a constructive phase? Stop trying to combat negativity with positivity, stop being negative & looking at the ego as just being negative, stop trying to feel good all the times, perceive there are no negatives or positives just differences.  Once we do this collectively no one will ever even presuming suffer again, a 1000 years of peace will befall!!

Counter Productiveness in Positivity

Written by Mathew Naismith

I thought I would share a reply I made to a particular post, shown below, to show how loony I’ve become.

I ask you what is this website for Starseeds? Is it not to encourage, enlighten, share experiences and just be the true Beings that we are? To send light and love to whomever is in need? Are we not the Light that can potentially help humanity as we know it change to their full potential? Well, what would you do if someone told you our safe haven, one of the most unique and loving and encouraging places for Beings like us was IN DANGER of ceasing to exist. What could we do help prevent our little world of communication with each other from going away? We are Starseeds, children of the sky and someone we know and love dearly needs our help!! We as a Great Family cannot turn our backs. We all need to open up and give a piece of ourselves to this site. All of us!

How can we do this? We need to invite more trusted people to. SL. There are so many more that can and will benefit from us and what we have to offer, and that Is Ourselves, our knowledge, our insight and mostly our Love and Support.
We need to blog more, set up forums to share our passions, stories of life as we know it and life as it could be.

As for Me, I made my choice to be on this miserable planet to help Humanity and I am proud to be able to do that. I will do it freely andwith great love for those who are suffering and those will suffer, to give them Peace!! Brothers and Sisters of the Stars, my beautiful family will you help, That was a silly question, because I know you and at that we are the same that is who we are, we help when needed. It's in our makeup as Star Beings!! I know in my heart and soul that our distant families are very proud of us all! Where I come from my has been written in a book along with so many others as a remembrance of what we choose to sacrifice, and that my Dear Ones, a remembrance should prompt us to remember our greatest sacrifice Them Our real Families!! Honor them!
We can start by blogging and inviting new ones. We all need this, I need this and our Dear and Loving Star Sister needs this. I don't want my safe haven to go away!! I just found all of you and I need you all in my life. I have felt so out of place and alone all of my life till I met all of you, thank you all for accepting me into your lives!!
We are Warriors!! We are as one and so it should be!!

Dearest Pamela, if I'm not mistaken, you have been hurt quite seriously probably more than once, life can be tough if we try to toughen up believe it or not. The trick isn't to toughen up but learn to be sympathetic & caring to those who know no better.

What you & others are doing on sites like this one is learning to be sympathetic & caring over & above toughening up. It seems so logical to toughen up & get on with life forgetting all that has gone before us, this is old hat & of course never worked if what we wanted to do is make life less chaotic.

The strange thing about being hurt is we don't necessarily need to be hurt ourselves to react sympathetically & caring.

When we are hurt or we are seeing/feeling hurt we counter react by only focusing on the positives, the problem I see with this is a counter reaction. By the act of being positive to drown out all the negatives is actually being negative because we are counter reacting to a supposed negative.

The trick is not to drown out these negatives with positives but to see these negatives in a less negative way. I'm happy living in misery only because I know this misery is self-inflicted, misery within itself does not exist, we are the ones who have created misery by seeing it just as misery. The more we try to counter act this misery the more misery exists.

What makes us live & exist in misery? If we all lived for a need instead of a desire this misery wouldn't exist in the way it does today, desire creates misery. Sadly enough our egos won't allow us to live just for our needs these days.

When we were living for our needs, yes there was hardship but that was a part of normal everyday life, it was accepted but now we live for our desires which have created misery. By living for our desires we no longer expect to suffer & when we do it's utter misery to us so we counter act this with excessive positivity.

The strange thing is you can't get any more positive than acceptance of all for what it is, for in this we are not trying to drown out these negatives but accept them for what they are.  The strangest thing with acceptance is it makes you look at everything in a more positive light than trying to drown out these supposed negatives with positivity.  The extremes of positives & negatives are far less because we learn to live for a need instead of a desire.  When I talk about desire I mean desiring more than what we can be content with, never really being content in what we have.

In my mind we really do need to change these negatives into something more positive rather than just smother these negatives hoping they will just disappear.  Some people see me as being negative but I don't who is more negative? Some people see what I write as being negative others don't, again who is being more negative. If you see negativity as in opposition to positivity you are most likely negative no matter how positive you think you are!!
