Spiritual Primary Objectives

Written by Mathew Naismith

We will certainly find ourselves in a different reality than what we are presently experiencing collectedly at times, this shows in the different ways we respond to various situation in our lives. We tend to behave differently  at times to situations that others around us also experience, this can feel isolating and alienating. Our response can also be misinterpreted by other people around us, most often in relation to their own responses, their perceptions have to be also of ours!!

We also need to be aware that other people's perceptions are not going to be ours either. It's obvious that we can exist in a different reality while experiencing the same collective reality, this is likened to that we have our own personal path to follow while experiencing the same collective human journey.

It's quite understandable that life, while experiencing quite a different path to the human journey, will become daunting to us at times. We will at times be subject to unjust ridicule and abuse, this is inevitable. It's like living as a Christian in an extremist Islamic region of the world, and yes, it can be this daunting at times, actually, for some people it can indeed be this frightening and isolating/alienating.

We can ourselves also become extreme within our judgment of other people following the human journey itself, just because our path might not be of the human journey, doesn't mean the human journey being followed by the mass is wrong or incorrect. We must remember, we are the one's deviating from the collective human journey, within this action, we should expect to be abused and ridiculed. However, the collective human journey is not fixated to a certain journey and yes,  everyone has a right to influence what path this collective human journey takes.

Individually, I've been abused and ridiculed, at times to the extreme, not just by strangers or friends, colleagues and acquaintances, but by family in particular only because I have chosen to follow a different path on my journey. Because I can instantly separate myself from other people's path's, including family members paths, I'm often labelled hateful and spiteful only because I no longer feel at home intermingled within their paths. My whole journey became a completely different path to theirs. You can actually liken this to a spiritualist who goes out to find their inner truer self, they most often separate themselves from friends and family. Within certain cultures in the world, this is accepted, in other cultures it's not.

I can be very close to people and instantly severe this closeness when my own path beckons me to. Yes, I have emotionally hurt certain people by being able to instantly separate myself from their present path, this is by no way intentional. I must, as we all should, follow our own path, this at times isn't always accepted by some people around us. This can't be helped when being true to yourself and following your own path and not being of someone else's path. My families path in particular became no longer of my own path, this was evident in the obvious difference between our paths. The difference between our paths became more and more evident as time went by, I was no longer comfortable or felt at home within their path for various reasons.

As they have become hateful or intolerant of me, I was also supposed to be of them, they perceived that I too was of their path still so I had to hate them but of course that couldn't be further from the truth. I simply no longer had no similarity with my families path, we were obviously going in quite different directions. When I instantly make a decision to separate myself from a path I no longer associate with, there is no malice or hate involved, it's a simple  decision to separate myself from a path that no longer belongs as a part of my path. My journey has become indifferent to the collective human journey, it's this simple but it is then easy to judge how wrong or negative the human collective journey is, this of course isn't the case.

Each journey has it's own paths to follow, as of each and every path, the journey itself has a reason to exist, it's worthy to the souls experiencing a particular journey, maybe not to us any more but it is to them.

This will no doubt seem cold hearted to some people, I can emotionally detach myself from anyone not of my path no matter who they are. I am not permanently fixated to anything through emotions, of course at times separation can be emotionally draining and upsetting for me, after all, separating oneself from someone's path isn't easy, especially when a lot of emotions are involved. As I become more of my primary self, truer inner self, I will indeed feel I no longer relate to a reality, a human journey, that is more of a secondary existence, an existence that is of anything but of it's truer being.

A secondary existence is all about motions. Our hair grows so we have to cut it, we get dirty so we have to wash, we go to work to earn money to survive in a world based purely on motion. A primary existence is anything but of this kind of motion, there is no need of motion to exist. Motion doesn't determine if something exists or not, motion, which all secondary existences are based on, only refers to expressions of motionlessness, motionlessness being of a primary existence. Basically, motions refer to an expression or movement of our motionless primary existence.

The reason why our truer being is associated with our primary existence, has to do with motion itself, as soon as our primary existence is expressed as motion in a secondary existence, these expressions become distorted. The reason for this lies entirely on that motion is created by an ignorance, to one degree or another, of our primary existence. How much motion today are we creating or expressing and how fast is time now seemingly going for us? Now how destructive have we become? Destruction relates directly to motion and how fast motion or time seems to be going, for an example, is a car going slow going to cause more damage when it crashes than going fast? Any energy going fast will cause more damage to anything in it's path than energy going at a slower pace.

Meditating is a prime example of how to slow down our own energy flows. When we meditate, we become more of our primary self, numerous other spiritual practices do the same. In a reality primarily of secondary existence (motion),  a balance of our other existence, the primary existence, is wise, especially when a secondary  existence becomes overly destructive, especially onto itself.

Primary Existence = motionlessness + slow or sedate energy flows

Secondary Existence =  motion + fast or chaotic energy flows

There is a distinct difference between writing
from experience, and writing from the knowledge of experience.
Wisdom is gained from direct experiences, not knowledge from experiences!!

Progression, Not Division

Written by Mathew Naismith

I had a personal good friend of mine read my latest post on primary existence and envelopment, my friend was confused in exactly what I meant in relation to a primary existence. I will within this post explain what I mean about primary existence in a different format as below.

Primary Existence = God, zero point, nothingness, oneness, truer self, Tao, higher self + egoless + undivided

Secondary Existence = Soul consciousness (reality), human consciousness (reality) + ego + divided

Primary Existence: It would seem strange to a lot of people that I made reference here to a primary existence in relation to, for example, a Christian God and a Buddhist principle of nothingness. It is most likely that people from each of these ideologies, would state there is nothing in common with a God and nothingness. To a Buddhist, the representation of a God is ego, nothingness is egoless, consequently, a Christian might state that God is nothingness, how in this case can the perception of God and nothingness relate to a primary existence but they do?

Primary existence relates to our whole self before it's divided into secondary existences,  each soul has it's own path so therefore is divided by individual paths. This division relates to secondary existences, actually, the motion of dividing automatically creates secondary existences. Basically, a primary existence is an existence that is undivided, it's all of everything or nothing of anything.

The relation to everything, as a perception of God or oneness for example, in a primary existence denotes an undivided existence, a whole or collective that is undivided. God represents everything therefore is undivided within itself. This is the same with nothingness, there is no division in nothingness. The Tao is exactly the same, there is no division, it's all and nothing, not all or nothing.

This is how we perceive, we perceive through the ego so it has to be one or the other. The ego in control can only comprehend anything if it's one or the other, so to the ego, everything can't be the same as nothing, even though everything and nothing represent an undivided existence. Of course to various ideologies, it has to be one or the other, everything being of the ego, nothing being of egoless in some cases.

The division or difference between Christianity and Buddhism for example, is an obvious illusion brought on by perceiving through the ego self for only the ego itself will divide. Christianity makes reference to a God, an undivided existence, Buddhism makes reference to nothingness, again an undivided existence. What about nothingness not even being an existence!! Only an ego in control would argue what is and isn't determined to be an existence or not, so I'm not going down this path to try to find a division for obvious reasons, I will leave this to the secondary existence ego control mind to sort this out. Of course it never truly will because all it would be doing is chasing it own tail to judging what is and isn't real, an illusion.

Being that the secondary existences are ego based, but not  necessarily egotistical based, the secondary perception is focused on division, this of course stands to reason because ego and souls represent division. Basically, anything that is obvious within it's division, is ego based, this in turn creates an ego based perceptions of divisions, not wholeness or oneness unlike a primary existence. The primary existence mind focuses on wholeness and oneness of everything as well as nothing, there are no divisions between one or the other, actually, there is no one or the other, just wholeness, oneness.

Yes, everything and nothing are exactly the same thing, it's just in a secondary existence mind, there has to be division, one or the other...!!

Primary Existence = (and)

Secondary Existence = (or)

Progressions: We might now think that there is a huge difference (division) between primary and secondary existences, they are obvious within their differences as I have clearly pointed out.

There is only a perceived difference, a division, in a secondary existence. When observing from a primary perspective, there are no divisions, only progressions. The secondary existence mind always puts limitations on everything, there has to be a division between one and the other, not a progression void of divisions and this is the point. How often do we focus on division instead of progressions void of actual divisions? There is an endless progression between primary and secondary existences, this motion is infinite. The motion between primary and secondary existences have always existed, what hasn't always existed is what these motion between the two existences create. The universe and human consciousness are prime examples of what this motion physically creates which are of course finite in nature.

Primary Existence= motionlessness + non-creative + infinite

Secondary Existence = motion + creative + finite

The perception of the Tao or the perception of God, actually relate to both the primary and secondary existences as being a whole, basically, the perception of God represents primary and secondary existences. As I have displayed earlier on, that God is of primary existence and not of secondary existence isn't quite correct, the perception of God relates directly to oneness, a whole. This means the perception of God relates to both primary and secondary existences. You can now see how Christians have the idea that God created everything and rightfully so in my mind.

Primary Existence = God + non-creative

Secondary Existence = God + creative

This is how we create in our own right while existing in a secondary existence, only in a secondary existence can creation begin, and yes, end. The strange thing in all this is, neither the secondary or primary is above or higher in stature than other, only an ego in control would be able to perceive this in this way, in other words, divide......!!

Primary Source And The Envelopment

Written by Mathew Naismith

There are numerous people who have had numerous experiences that have gone beyond normal human existence. I've personally experienced very few experiences like this in my life but what I did experienced was quite compelling, the time I was attacked by nine entities was one of the most compelling moments in my spiritual life. At the time I had no idea in how compelling this experience was until latter in life.

Nine Entities: Being attacked by nine entities all at once was compelling within itself, the source behind this attack was very forceful and deliberate. If this wasn't compelling enough, I was protected by benign sources that only allowed one of the entities to face me face to face, one on one. At the point of facing this entity one on one, all I did was laugh and the entity dispersed as if in fear of me, of course their objective was to install fear in me, not the other way around.

What actually occurred at the point of my own laughter, is my primary existence expressed itself, of course the laughter was in relation to the ignorance of these entities. I should point out, I don't look at ignorance as something negative or bad in some way, in actuality ignorance used creatively and constructively, can create entire realities and universes. The reason for this stems from ignorance itself, an ignorance of our primary existence in any sense, causes motion to be observed and it's this observation of motion that creates everything the way it is. What occurs when a consciousness becomes too ignorant, is that this motion will create destructiveness, the more a consciousness becomes or expresses ignorance, the more destruction it naturally creates, and yes, it is natural. Ignorance will naturally and normally create destruction of expressed to an extreme.

You see, these entities wanted to destroy the awareness within me by replacing it with fear, of course in my case the opposite occurred. The reason for this occurrence stems primarily from their own fear within themselves, if they didn't have this fear within themselves to start with, laughing at them wouldn't have had an effect on them. The reason for this is that fear is linked to ignorance or an unawareness of our primary existence. My primary existence or truer self come forth void of fear because it is also  void of ignorance as is the same with all of us, everyone, including these entities, have a primary existence, this was the last thing these entities wanted to become aware of, thsi was obvious.

Their reality was created from the total ignorance of their primary existence, their truer self or being, they don't want their reality or existence threatened in any sense. How many people within this reality are fearful of having this reality threatened in any sense? Now imagine having your own personal reality threatened to the extent of total annulation, it's quite traumatising to say the least to even think of this. As soon as my primary self become known to them through my laughter, this immediately threatened their reality and even their very own existence. You see, ignorance cannot exist within an aware existence, this of course stands to reason, as soon as you become aware, you lesson your own ignorance. Awareness basically destroys ignorance, it's natural and expected that awareness will detract from the influence ignorance has upon us. I basically made these entities powerless towards me through my own lack of ignorance.

Envelopment: Indeed, we have enveloped ourselves in ignorance from our primary existence, this is now very obvious to me in the way my primary existence came forth in the way it did. I was at that time nearly totally enveloped in ignorance. The time of my life I was attacked by these nine entities, was the time I was the most ignorant in my life, this was the time I was the most vulnerable to these kinds of entities. How vulnerable are we to other forces within this reality? Seen as this reality is primarily based on ignorance, it stands to reason that we will be vulnerable to malign forces within this existence, we are even vulnerable to malign forces from other existences/dimensions.

We might then think the more we study and read, the less ignorant we become and the less vulnerable we are to the malign forces. Actually no, in actuality this action can create more ignorance, depending on the source of study. If the study is based on becoming aware of our primary existence, yes, this kind of study will assist us. If the study is primarily based on secondary awareness or knowledge, an awareness and knowledge created within a secondary existence, it's unlikely that this kind of study will help us to expel the malign forces. A lot of knowledge and awareness created in a secondary existence, will most likely add to our ignorance, not deplete it.

A lot of spiritual practices assist us in becoming aware of our primary existence, however, a lot of these practices of today, especially in the west, are influenced by secondary existence thought processes. This is because most of us are, from birth, conditioned to these secondary thought processes. Even if we read or study in spiritual practices that enhance our connection to our primary existence, this secondary existence thought process is predominantly influential detracting, and at times enhancing, our ignorance, not detracting from our ignorance.

How many people today are anti-religion and /or God for instance? Just the thought of God conditions us to our primary existence, religion of course has always made reference to this kind of divine source, which also makes reference to our primary existence. Take away this conditioning, what is left to expel malign forces that exist in ignorance?

When a religion becomes more of the church and it's practicing members, this is when the church becomes Godless because it's no longer primarily of our primary existence. When this occurs, which it has many times over in human history, the church driven religion becomes primarily of secondary existence, not of primary existence.

So called new age or Eastern based religion/philosophies are different, they today still focus on our primary existence in a higher power, God, inner divine self, zero point, oneness, nothingness and so on. Of course in a lot of cases in the west, we have allowed our secondary existence to influence these primary existence teachings, after all in the west in particular, we are primarily conditioned to our secondary existence, lets be honest about this.

Note: If you haven't read my previous post on this topic, you might find this post confusing to read.

Our Primary Source of Existence

Written by Mathew Naismith

I have never made reference to primary and secondary existences before, this is certainly a first for me. I suppose this was influenced by a passing away (death) of a good friend of mine just recently. He couldn't believe how more alive he felt, more alive than he ever did in his life on Earth, this is even after making the most of his life. He also wanted me to tell his granddaughter how alive he feels at present and not to worry or think too much about him, he soon realised why I couldn't carry his wishes out.

What my friend was experiencing was still a secondary existence but an existence that was less dense, the less dense an existence is, the more alive we feel and for a very good reason as I will explain. The next two paragraphs are probably going to be a little too heavy of a read for some people, bare with this, it gets easier.

A primarily existence; an existence that is usually beyond the perceptions of secondary existences, secondary existences of course being secondary to a primary existence. A primary existence is only primary due to secondary existences existing. The primary role of a primary existence exists to formulate or be expressive of secondary expressions, basically, the more of a secondary existence a consciousness experiences, the more dense the matter becomes. Matter only being an expression or formulation of consciousness, meaning, consciousness creates the denseness of matter. The less aware/wise a consciousness is, the denser the matter becomes, human consciousness is a prime example of this expressiveness.

It's strange to think, the less aware/wise a consciousness becomes, the denser the matter becomes. On the other hand, the more aware/wise a consciousness becomes, the less denser the matter becomes. How much lighter do we feel when we participate less and observe more? Participation (motion) creates a denser existence, an existence limited by it's denseness or ignorance/unawareness. It stands to reason that we feel lighter when we extricate ourselves from a dense form of existence in anyway to any extent.

Creation: This doesn't mean that secondary existences are created by a primary existence, for example, God being a representative of a primary existence, didn't create secondary existences like humans or the universe, they always existed but in a less dense form, however as I said, no secondary existence can exist without a primary source of creation. The existence of a primary source instantly creates secondary existences so in a sense, God, zero point, pure wisdom, oneness and so on,  did in a sense create everything of a secondary nature like the universe or human consciousness and even souls for instance.

Yes, even the soul is a secondary existence mainly because it's more dense in relation to the primary source of existence, this is why my passing friend felt more alive than ever while still being in a secondary existence as a soul. The soul existence being less dense than human existence mainly due to the souls reconnection, or more precisely, remembrance of it's own primary existence. We are never not of this primary existence no matter what we want to call it, it's just we perceive that secondary existences are primary to all other existences. This is the illusion, that we exist in a primary existence when we don't which is primarily based on an unawareness of a true primary source of creation. In the case of a souls existence, the soul becomes less dense due to it being more of the spirit within all things, the spirit being of our true primary existence which is in all things.

However, not all souls will experience  a less dense existence when passing on from human form, we can indeed take the ignorance with us from human life when passing away (dying). This action will keep a soul from becoming aware of it's true primary existence, it's truer being. I suppose you could relate this kind of existence to hell, the funny thing is, what are we creating more on Earth at present? A living hell which can only exist through a consciousness existing in ignorance of it's truer being. Could you imagine experiencing a relatively light existence and being impelled into a much denser existence, it would indeed feel like hell!!

No limitations: We might think our primary existence, our truer being, is one level or stage, the soul being the next level or stage and human existence being the next level or stage of existence from the soul. This is often perceived by human consciousness as a declension or decline from the primary source. The more ignorant a consciousness becomes, the denser the matter becomes, as I stated, this is often perceived as levels or stages of decline, in actuality, it's a progression void of limitations or boundaries.

There is no true divide between the primary source of existence to the next secondary source of existence the soul and so on, the reason for this primarily lies within that we never stop being of the primary source, we only perceive we do in certain existences. The denser the existence experienced, the more disconnected we feel from this primary source and understandably so. Ignorance creates denser existences or realities, of course any consciousness that is dense is going to no longer feel they are apart of the true primary source, this stands to reason. Of course the more a consciousness is existing in ignorance, the more destructive a consciousness becomes.

There are many philosophies and religions that have pointed to the actuality of there being a primary source of creation, they have also pointed out that we are never truly not apart of this source at anytime. However, it is also pointed out that we can perceive that we are not of this primary source, this is only a perception, an illusion, that our present dense existence is primary to all other existences.

We are presently experiencing a secondary existence, it's wise to focus on our primary source of existence now and again, within this, we will feel a lot more alive and feel lighter within ourselves and for a very good reason too......

Where Are We Going Now?

Mathew G Naismith

So where are we going from here? Considering the recent events that occurred and that are still occurring in the US, you have got to wonder where this peace and love is supposed to be coming from. There is no nation as a whole that is leading the way in this area. The hate between democrats and the republicans in the US is bad enough, what is occurring at present is even worse, the hate being expressed towards an obvious flawed man as Trump is astonishing.

We have a saying in Australia, "Never try to judge a book by it's cover, especially before it's had a chance to prove itself true". There is not one person who couldn't honestly say they are not flawed in some way, no one is perfect therefore they are flawed in some way. Also,  human consciousness and form is based on imperfections, it's these imperfections that gives human consciousness it's form and expressions. No imperfections, no human.

We might now think that we need to get right away from these imperfections, basically from being human because of it's destructive ways. However, what better way to be in total harmony at the soul level when existing in the thick of imperfections? We have a true chance here to learn to be in total harmony beyond human consciousness, we instead hate anything that is flawed beyond our own imperfections. Trump is obvious within his imperfections, Obama wasn't and look at what Obama has done, supporting a nation, in a huge way, that is deliberately killing off unarmed women and children. Syria's oil and gas is now being pilfered under Obama, also, what about the treatment of native Americans, is any of this of  peace or going to lead to peace? I suppose if you enslave or kill off an entire race of people, this could lead to peace!!

We have another saying in Australia, "Be aware of the fox/wolf wearing sheep's clothing", this means not to be fooled by a person who seems righteous but is anything but righteous underneath the fake persona. Trump in my mind has shown us he is anything but a fox in sheep's clothing, however, I don't think he is as crazy as he makes himself out to be either. It's the age of the false prophets, Trump is anything but a false prophet.

Trump is a prime example of the reflection of human imperfections. Some people who are anti-Trump, would say he is the reflection of the worse of human imperfections. I think the present regime we are living under, is at this stage worse than Trumps imperfections, why aren't the people in the US demonstrating and hating the present regime? This action is very questionable in my mind.....!!

I suppose the outcome of the election was a demonstration, it was an expression of a dislike to the present regime which Hillary was obviously going to continue with. Paying out billions of dollars to Israel to kill unarmed women and children, while US citizens are unemployed and without a roof over their heads, is going to lead to some a kind of demonstration, as peaceful as it was. Of course this peace is now being shattered by hateful demonstrations. Don't get me wrong with this, I am not a Trump supporter, actually not long a go I wrote a post stating anything but being a supporter of Trump for various reasons.

I'm for love and peace, very much like any true spiritually aware person, Trump doesn't reflect this, actually anything but, however, he is not a fox in sheep's clothing for starters, this is obvious within his own actions. In an age of false prophets/people's, this is significant. Also, if a true spiritually aware person can't stand or even hates what Trumps stands for, human imperfections, how truly spiritually connected and aware are these people? You see Trump is a prime example of the reflection of human imperfections, we often don't like being reminded of what we too are apart of or connected to. We of course want to separate ourselves from this which has nothing to do with oneness, anything but.

We have a nation that is divided by republican and democratic ideologies at the best of times, at times hatefully so. At present this hate has escalated to the point of bitter hatefulness for a man who is obvious within his imperfections, however, a man that hasn't had a chance to prove himself yet. This isn't just a clear display of judgement but prejudgment or even misjudgement based on a persons imperfections. Don't get me wrong here, I don't think I would like a leader to represent me that is as obvious within his imperfections as Trump, however, once again he is not a fox dressed in sheep's clothing to start with, this is quite significant especially in the age we are in.

It's also an age of awareness which represents a consciousness becoming aware of itself. You could say it's a conscious ascension beyond the boundaries and limitations of human consciousness, this means we will be confronted with the truth of the imperfections and perfections of human consciousness, Trump is a prime example of human imperfections in my mind. It's quite desperate times when a consciousness is faced with it's own imperfections, it's even more desperate when these exact same imperfections are represented by our leaders who are suppose to represent us. What ego would want this and this is the point?

The ego can only exist in ignorance to it's truer being, any kind of awareness displaying this imperfection, will of course be repulsed or rejected by the ego. I look at Trump and all  I see is my own imperfections that I don't often express myself, the ego will do anything to refute this kind of awakening and yes, Trump in my mind is very much apart of the awakening. The reason for this lies in his outwardly expression of his own imperfections, I think it's refreshing to see a leader who is very open with his own imperfections even though, like any imperfections, can be very destructive. It's trumps harkening destructive expressions that irks me, but again, this too is but a reflection of my own imperfections.

We should never expect a leader or nation to only express perfections, within this expectation, all we are going to create is more imperfections. When we expect too much of a leader and then are let down by this leader, all we then focus on is the imperfections thus inadvertently creating more imperfections. Of course in relation to Trump, even before he becomes the US leader, he is hated by many because of his own imperfections. As I said, I wouldn't like a leader with so many known imperfections representing me nationally, however, I would try not to create or heighten known human imperfections by expressing hate or even dislike.

It's amazing, the US is supposed to be a representation of a free world based on democracy, a nation that is at the best of times dived by it's politics, religions and races. Is a nation that is so obviously divided and hateful of it's own, going to be a true representation of a free world? To answer this you must consider that the wakening will incur one to awaken to itself, this sadly means in our case, that we need to express these imperfections to become aware of them. Of course spiritually we know we don't have to express these imperfections to become aware of them, however, it would seem human consciousness as a collective needs to do just that.

Yes, more of our human imperfections are becoming more apparent today, this is a good thing even though it's a hard and difficult way for a consciousness to become awakened!!

Being Your True Being

Written by Mathew Naismith

I wrote the following to try to help other people understand why they feel so miserable at times. We seem to have become aware that the present environment isn't who we are, in actuality, our present environment reflects anything other than who we truly are. The reason for this lies in what created this reality in the first place, lies, deception and manipulation/backstabbing.

We cannot truly be what lies have created in the first place, of course lies create deception and manipulation, basically, a true depiction of an illusion. We of course can't be an illusion but many of us today are very much apart of this illusion, otherwise the world would be a very different place to what it is today. Many of us have become aware of this illusion and beckon to become expressive of our truer being again.

For starters, we have been made to believe that time and space is all we are, it's a part of who we are but it's not all of what we are, in actuality, time and space is but a tiny portion of our whole being. Within the limitations of time and space, we have created lies upon lies upon lies. It's like a snowball rolling down a snowy hill, it accumulates more of what has initially created it. The further the snowball goes on, the larger the snowball becomes. Our present reality was created from lies, this has accumulated even more of the same as it's allowed to continue. The lies, deception and manipulation isn't lessening, it's growing, however, once you become an observer instead of a participator of the snowball effect, it becomes apparent to the observer it's not of the snowball, it's but an observer of the snowball.

Once you start to become the observer rather than a participator, you become more aware of your truer being, this is quite a natural phenomena to occur when a participant  becomes an observer. Some people are having a hard time of this only because they are between being an observer and a participator, no transition period is easy to circumnavigate when in this transition period. It's like circumnavigating the globe void of instrumentation or mapping of any kind, it would be daunting to say the least to do this.

When you have no mapping or instrumentation to guide you from a participator to an observer, basically meaning no sound and true guidance, it's obvious that such a voyage will we harrowing at times. Try to remember that there is a huge difference between a participator and an observer. A participator is usually apart of the lies and deception, where's the observer is no longer of this kind of reality being that the observer is our truer being, not the participator.

I hope the following puts a better perspective on this.

_______________________

I've become a grumpy old man

The reason lies within my unacceptance

An unacceptance of deceit, lies and backstabbing

Life is too short and precious I feel

I no longer choose to live and accept this kind of environment

For this, I have become a grumpy old man to others

And so be it

Better this than the alternative

An alternative too accepted by too many in my mind

I am not this kind of environment

I am something quite different

A difference that is known to some to be grumpy

And again so be it as the alternative isn't who I truly am

I will never go back this kind of environment

Life is too precious to do so

In actuality

My own true being is precious

More precious than this kind of environment is by far

Indeed, our environment dictates who we are

We are our environment

But our environment isn't necessarily who we are

Wisdom learnt through life teaches us this

It's obvious

Once you become grumpy towards this kind of environment

You then realise you are indeed apart of a different environment

An environment a lot more constructive towards being your true being

An environment of deceit, lies and backstabbing isn't who anyone is

This isn't our truer being

This however only becomes apparent when you extricate yourself

An extrication from a created environment to your true environment

An environment conductive to being your true being

Various Beliefs of Ego

Written By Mathew Naismith

I've lost count in how many people I have come across that are disillusioned and confused in regards to the ego, this is after these people have followed various spiritual beliefs and practices. In certain cases, these people are now just as much if not more disillusioned and confused, so many beliefs contradict each other on this matter, which one is absolute?

It's wise to be a aware that a controlling ego (egotism) will state which one is absolute over all other beliefs, any belief that is egotistically free, won't state which one is absolute over another. It's also wise to be aware that there is a big difference between ego and egotism, egotism being an ego in control, ego is just being. Each belief system is of the ego, it was created by ego, this means each and every belief system is of the ego to start with, basically, everything of creation is of the ego, however, not everything is of egotism.

If your not bias (egotistical) within your own beliefs, you will find the following various views from different beliefs quite interesting. They basically say the same thing even though the interpretation of ego varies in regards to certain beliefs. There seems to be a cohesive view that ego can give us the illusion of separation from, nothingness, God, zero point, oneness, inner self, our truer being and so on.

Zen

Extract: “The anitya doctrine is, again, not quite the simple assertion that the world is impermanent, but rather that the more one grasps at the world, the more it changes. Reality in itself is neither permanent nor impermanent; it cannot be categorized. But when one tries to hold on to it, change is everywhere apparent, since, like one’s own shadow, the faster one pursues it, the faster it flees.
Hinduism

Extract: From a spiritual perspective, ego means considering oneself to be distinct from others and God due to identification with the physical body and impressions in various centres of the subtle body. In short ego is leading our life as per the thinking that our existence is limited to our 5 senses, mind, and intellect and identifying with them to various degrees.
As per the science of Spirituality, our true state of existence is identification with the Soul or God-principle within us and living our day to day life with this consciousness. As the one and same God-principle exists within all, from a spiritual perspective there is unity in all Creation.
However, depending on the level of our ego, we identify with the God-principle within us, i.e. the Soul to varying degrees. If our ego is high, we identify less with the Soul or the God-principle within us.
Taoism

Extract: In Taoist practice, when one “sheds the bones” a Taoist will finally fully wash off all the glue that holds the spirit to the bones of our stories. However, until that point of full release, a Taoist allows ego to play a bit, as it’s part of our very nature. Instead at first a Taoist learns how to live their life without that sheep dog in control of our life.

Islam

Extract: [Quran 2:54] Recall that Moses said to his people, "O my people, you have wronged your souls by worshiping the calf. You must repent to your Creator. You shall kill your egos. This is better for you in the sight of your Creator." He did redeem you. He is the Redeemer, Most Merciful.

The following gives a more collective view, it also shows a Christian and Judaist viewpoint on this topic as well.

Extract: Understanding what we call ‘the ego’ will change how you see yourself and the world around you. Your mind has been programmed to believe that the ego is you, but in reality it is just an illusion that we use to help us function in our world. In a sense, the ego is what makes us feel separate from other people.

Even though we play much of our life through the lens of the ego, we are not the ego. We are sitting outside of the ego; a pure and whole individual. We are the observer. Although the ego is in no way the enemy, the ability to see the ego for what it is gives us a lot of power and enlightenment.

It would seem as soon as a belief system states it's absolutely right over all other beliefs, this belief has become egotistical, considering that ego is a separation from our truer being, how separated is a belief system that believes it's absolutely egotistically right over all other beliefs, it's absolute?

Let's put this in a Godly sense, how much of God is a person who categorically states their belief is absolute over all other beliefs? Considering the main consensuses of each belief states that ego can indeed separate ourselves from God, how truly of God is a person who states absolutes?

Let's put this in another way, how much of the inners self or nothingness is a persons when stating absolutes in relation to their own beliefs? Considering that absolutes within anyone's belief system is egotistical, how virtuous and exact is any absolute view in this case when they are themselves obviously showing no connection  to their truer being?

On numerous occasions I have had discussions with people following various beliefs, most people are open minded to one extent or another, others are absolute within their convictions. Even people who call themselves Buddhist, have spoken about absolutes for example, their is absolutely no God and soul, we are nothingness that is completely void of ego. As soon as you talk about absolutes, you are talking not just about ego but egotism. Is the view that absolutes are egotism? No, because again there are no true absolutes.

I should also state that I have talked to other people of Buddhism about other people who state they are Buddhist, but at the same time talk about absolutes. According to these people I've talked to, they are not true Buddhists.

Now my view on ego is, all motion is ego, all excessive (extreme) motion is egotism. Oneness, zero point, God, nothingness, inner self and so on, which is in my mind our truer being, are motionless therefore are ego free. The closer we become our truer being, the less motion we express therefore the less of the ego we become.

As I have always said, motion is an expression of our truer being, God if you like. There is nothing wrong or right within this expression, it's how we express our truer being that defines how destructive or constructive we will be. If you wish to judge destruction as being wrong or negative, this is your will but any judgment like this is of the ego, therefore a further separation from our truer being. Is there anything wrong in this separation? No but one should be wised that the further we separate ourselves from this truer being, the more egotistical we become and the more destructive we become, the world around us at present is a good indication of this.

Ego can be a beautiful thing, egotism can be an ugly thing in accordance to it's obvious destructiveness. It's wise not to judge the Ego as you do egotism, this is obvious within it's observation.
